An economic development firm specializing in placemaking & community engagement.
We build resilient neighborhoods and cities.

Placemaking

Enhancing a space to make it unique, welcoming, and interesting for humans.

Placemaking brings public space to life by creating places to sit and chat, opportunities for strangers to spontaneously interact, and things to do, see, eat, drink, and observe. Individuals are inspired to invest their own time, talent and treasure into the details that make a place authentic, lively, and economically stable.

Services

Placemaking & Design

The art of building places people love - where timeless design & simplicity welcome a diversity of visitors. We focus on the details that make a place welcoming, walkable, comfortable, and engaging for all ages. Walkable places create strong social capital.

PopUps & Engagements

Working with the community to make places where we're personally invested. From popup retail to public space, our events engage the community to imagine what could be, and their role in actuation. We encourage local partners young and old to invest their time, money, ideas, and elbow grease into the project - to define our collective vision.

Whether you're just learning what popups can do or you have lots of irons in the fire, we'll give your team a boost to continue building momentum with an infusion of fresh energy, perspectives & more muscle to achieve your goals.

Community Outreach & Marketing

To understand the depth and complexity of places we love and places we love to hate, and to lead a community through the maze of why and how, is to begin the journey toward change.

These abstract concepts come to life with images and stories that create meaning and personal relevance. Whether you need the heavy lifting of a robust online outreach platform, workshops to inspire stakeholders, a work session with leaders, or project presentation & advertisement, we've got the right tools.

Small Development

One building, one locally owned shop, one small, impactful place. Project ownership by locals keeps a place authentic and keeps local shops open as property values increase.

It's a key component to growing local capital.

Projects coming soon.
